We've been using the MiraBox for about 8 months to capture an HDMI stream and stream it to OBS for live Facebook worship streams and the HDMI out for HDMI TV local network channel to use. It also works well as a Zoom channel for conferences. It usually works correctly, but sometimes for unknown reasons it doesn't initialize properly and needs to be restarted (either OBS or USB connection to MiraBox) for it to work. It does get hot in use but not hot and once it worked it hasn't failed even after running for several hours. The audio and video output quality is excellent with no noticeable artefacts. You must use the USB cable that came with the device. Trying to use a different cable, even a little longer, doesn't work. The low price compared to other manufacturers makes it an attractive option.
