Terrible I tried using one in my dishwasher instead of buying water softener pellets for my dishwasher. He created a white film on everything. So I went back and read what other people tried, some people went ahead and put both in the dishwasher. So I hung both from the inside of my dishwasher and my dishes have never looked worse. I put salt in the dishwasher again and it still had a horrible white film on everything. So after about two weeks I took them out and went back to my old salt and soap and my dishes are great again.
