I liked the quality of the 3'x2' section she did on the first cleaning. However, the brushes suddenly stopped moving. Unplugged, cleaned (which wasn't much as I didn't walk far), tried removing the water tanks, emptying and rinsing the water tanks, blue filter area, etc. Plugged back in and the brushes moved for 5 seconds and then stop. The light works but is useless other than the 5 second interval. What's frustrating is that the Bissell support site has so little coverage, and what it does most people would try to try themselves if it wasn't their first carpet cleaner. Bissell are a quality carpet cleaning company and I was very impressed with the 3x2 section as I could see a little gray around the edge where I was cleaning my carpet. (Obviously my last non-Bissell cleaner didn't do a very good job as I cleaned the carpet every 3 minutes to keep my house looking new.) However, the ability to spot and fix problems while your room is being taken apart Not waiting until the next business day when the car isn't with you to get help is extremely poor quality for Bissell. This is my third Bissell carpet cleaner in 30-35 years. but the first is that the instruction manual is practically useless. OK, save paper. I can support that, but your site doesn't offer much more in terms of troubleshooting. Otherwise this would be the perfect carpet cleaner for me. I guess I won't search the web for other customers who have had the same problem and try what they have tried. Disappointing because I won't have enough time to finish the room tonight. This machine is much quieter than my previous 4 carpet cleaners.
