Holy Shell! (This is a frozen turd). And that's exactly what you might have bought when you took that crappy piece of Chinese plastic out of the box. It looks like a $2 item at best. Or maybe a child's toy. Or. I do not know. I've bought tools that came in less flimsy packaging than this one. That being said, the little ceramic wheels that are included are just amazing! Why four stars? I have no choice! While I don't want to accidentally sit on the damn thing for fear of breaking it, I have to respect its abilities! I took my slightly dull ax and ran it back and forth over the wheels five or six times, using only the weight of the ax for force. I then tested the blade and was amazed at how sharp it was. I immediately repeated this five-second process and checked again. Holy.! In amazement, I tested the blade on the hair on my arm. It shaves! Spicy! Very sharp! Not razor sharp. More like a quality American Army knife with a factory sharp edge! Much sharper than an ax should be, but I'm not complaining. plastic as is. I see no reason why it shouldn't last long unless treated like a tool on a construction site. Damn wet stones, diamond sharpeners and files! This thing has your rough edges effortlessly. I recommend buying if you're a lazy sharpener like me!
