Review on Black Decker 514004367 Air Hose by Jason Arkin

I have had this air compressor for over 30 years and replaced it 19 years ago. The bike's plastic connecting rod has worked well all along. This product has two problems. As mentioned in many other reviews, being only 28 inches long can be problematic. Such cheapness from the manufacturer is annoying, but I can still use the product. The second problem is that there is no way to connect this product to the main compressor. My replacement system had a smaller ID tube, so the old plastic connector on the main unit didn't work. The solution lies in the Lowes plumbing department. For $3.88 you can purchase a 1/4" brass barbed to 1/4" MIP adapter. The product numbers appear to be BHB-192NLB or 877067. Add a 98 cent hose clamp and you can use a shorter hose!
