Review on Longzang Animal Silicone Soap Mold S082 - Perfect for DIY Handmade Soap Crafts by Tara Ford

I have struggled with clear plastic soap molds because it can be very difficult to get the molds to release soap (very hard on thumbs and plastic molds become brittle with age and break), so I decided to try silicone molds. I received the dragonfly soap mold days ahead of the estimated delivery date which was a real surprise as it is handmade and from China. The shape is beautifully detailed: the leaves are veined, the dragonfly's body is segmented, and the lotus flower's petals stand out with a slight curve. I filled the mold with castile soap base and wasn't disappointed at all when it came time to take the mold out. It was so easy and the details that are in the mold are in the soap.
