This bench is very strong. My wife and I can sit on it (only 300 pounds) without feeling any movement. It's quite small, wide enough for us to sit next to each other and put on our shoes (personally I think it's the perfect size). It would be nice if the bottom shoe rack was a little higher so shoes could slide underneath more easily. Cons: Complete assembly instructions are one sheet of paper, all parts listed and a single diagram are printed on one page. how they fit together. It's not that it's hard (it's about 12 pieces that basically just fit together), but there's a specific order that makes it easier. There are 2 parts that do not screw in and are held in place by inserting into slots in the other parts. These parts must be inserted before the side parts. Overall, this is a good product for those who want to tidy up the shoe area in a rather small lobby area.
