I'll admit there were some 1 star reviews that made me hesitate before buying, but I'm really glad I ignored them. They were a bit larger than I thought, but to be honest I didn't check the dimensions of the product closely. I am uploading an image so you can see the relative sizes of a deck of playing cards and a rubber seal. Complaint number 1 for others: Too much salt comes out. My Opinion: You can get more than one of these classic shakers. What has 3 small holes? Yes, you can, but I get annoyed with these shakers when almost nothing comes out after a minute of shaking. If you are not a bore who has been idle for two years, this is not a problem. Complaint #2: The lid falls off and/or leaks. My Opinion: I have no idea what you're talking about. There's a clear rubber pad with two rows of slanting ribs to make it slide easily, but you really have to tug to take it off to fill it. I haven't had any rim leaks and this cap will not fall off easily with normal use and no contents can spill out the sides as others have said.
