Illuminated crochet hooks are great for working with dark yarns.

I have to say I laughed when the lighted hooks fell out. Now that I'm older, I understand their usefulness. :-) They are much easier to work with darker yarn or in low light. Two features I would personally like to improve are the hook style. I prefer built in hooks like Susan Bates. I find them easier to work with. Also, the battery life is a bit short. I'm sure this will improve with better batteries (Duracell or Energizer). However, I appreciate that it comes with three replaceable batteries. Overall definitely worth buying.
