Pretty good for welding and soldering
This is a good striker, works very well and the flints are sparkling to the point. I've used it to ignite oxy/acetylene torches and it hasn't let me down yet. I've had it for a while and am about to reach the end of the flint and I need to flip it soon. The only complaint I have is that even though it comes with extra flints, there's no way to keep them on the striker so they're easily lost.
