The tip cleaners work well but the body mechanics are poor causing the unit to fall apart. You can assemble the device, but I don't need it to get the job done.

The keep works great and works perfectly. On the other hand, the tip cleaner is quite thin. For me, it often just completely falls apart and scatters pieces everywhere.

I use mine to clean the nipples on my black powder guns. I'm not sure how long they'll last cleaning a steel tip instead of the brass tip they were designed for, but so far they're working.

I work in construction and do asphalt work and the machine I use has tips to spray tires with chemicals so I can roll and flatten the material. Tips clog and these tip cleaners are perfect. I will always use them and recommend them to others.

So far so good. They are much easier to use than traditional drummers given the arthritis in my hands and the fact that I play with my left hand. The vacuum cleaner is also quite light, but the size is difficult because of my hands. I'm only giving 4 stars STILL because I don't yet know how long Flints last compared to traditional strikers. i will return to you If longer, I will adjust accordingly.

This is a good striker, works very well and the flints are sparkling to the point. I've used it to ignite oxy/acetylene torches and it hasn't let me down yet. I've had it for a while and am about to reach the end of the flint and I need to flip it soon. The only complaint I have is that even though it comes with extra flints, there's no way to keep them on the striker so they're easily lost.
