Review on Bean Envy Gooseneck Coffee Kettle by Oliver Phelps

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Pretty small temperature controlled kettle

I bought this along with a Bean Envy coffee maker and was a bit surprised when both concluded how small they are. Then I realized that they make coffee so rich and sophisticated that I don't need a bigger system. With this system, I make as much coffee as my husband and I can drink in the morning, and if I need to make coffee for a large company, I have a large mug and kettle to do it. This way they don't take up too much space on the counter where they live most of the time and they look good. I've found that I have hot water for tea on demand throughout the day if I let the water boil in a small kettle - easy to see on the temperature gauge. The temperature sensor is very useful! You know how hot the liquid is when you pour some. I love this feature. I've been using the kettle for a few months now and would like to add an update! I'm SO impressed with the customer service from this company, I have to say it this way: They guarantee their product is perfect, but I certainly tested it, not on purpose. I accidentally overheated the kettle and damaged the thermometer. When I contacted the support portal, I immediately received a response from the company to rectify the situation. I am impressed! And I have to say - this kettle lives on my stove top, handy on a low heat for tea when I want it too. It's nice and useful for adding hot water to everything I cook. It's small enough to pick up and pour out easily and a lot more useful than a large kettle.

Pros
  • understandable even for old people
Cons
  • too dumb
