Review on 🔧 Squirt Long-Lasting Dry Lubricant 4oz by Charles Barney

A few years ago Velonews gave this material their highest rating - mainly because it is very slippery (the lowest friction of any lube tested at the time) and I've been using it on both my road bikes and mountain bikes ever since. I have amazing chain life these days, especially on road bikes. I currently have 6250 miles on my Dura-Ace chain with 0.40% wear. I can't say exactly what this lube is but I don't feel the need to experiment with other lubes so I just bought more here at Revain. Besides the excellent chain wear, I love that this lube keeps my transmission clean. In my experience, only wax-based lubricants are suitable for road bikes. I just completed an experiment with Rock & Roll Gold on my newest chain. I'm going back to Squirt. R&R is more difficult to handle and I don't have the same killer life as Squirt. It wasn't until I bought the R&R that I realized that Friction Facts gave the Squirt top marks for the lowest overall drive cost.
