I am doing a 5.3 LS replacement with a 1964 El Camino. I didn't want to mess with the upper radiator hose so I ordered this product and installed it on the right. The lateral side greatly simplifies routing the water supply from the engine to the radiator, is worth the money and makes the job a lot easier
