Works well with whisk - Candy and Acid

I bought these because I decided I had more bikes (4) than another member of my family and got rid of an old motocross bike. On the side I bought three types of pedals - SPD, Eggbeater and Big-SPD for road bikes, and three pairs of shoes, one of which I don't like and is going to eBay. Road bike forgetful, I had shoes I liked and Egg Beater acid pedals on my mountain bike and campus-style SPD pedals on a commuter bus with shoes I didn't fit. The end result is that I have whisk pedals (with some platform) on my mountain and commuter bikes. Now I've ridden a few with platforms - around town (<10 miles in the suburbs a few times) as well as light mountain biking and general state park riding (20 miles total) and I feel ready to comment. on these pedals. They are easy to put on and take off, but I haven't had any accidental removals. They spin the wrong way, just like the official Shimano reversible pedals they replaced. They have a large platform and work well on fire trails. I've worn them with Keen and trail running shoes. Both worked well, but they performed particularly well with enthusiasts. I suspect they'll be uncomfortable with platformless eggbeaters, but I won't be switching pedals again (yes, that means I have a box in the basement with two types of pedals that I don't use now.) I'm happy with you. I think I would most likely use them regularly when taking a long trip by commuter bus or mountain bike where for a long time it was the only bike I had and there were times when I did a quick trip in regular shoes wanted to do . When commuting, it's easier to leave your work shoes at the office and your mountain bike with proper shoes. My other use case is a trip to a jogging ground or park when I want running shoes and don't have to worry about carrying bike shoes. They'd be pretty easy to steal, so I wouldn't buy them for a bike that's going to be parked outside for a long time. The guy who parked next to you might think that's cool and take your set.
