The gasket that comes with the kit is ridiculous
The light is designed to look like a direct replacement for an Attwood taillight. It doesn't fit the same screw holes, and the included spacer is about half an inch thick, although it's oblong in shape, it can't be used for "surface mount" in any way. Actually, it's not even worth sending it back, so it ends up in the trash.
