This CAI is well worth the price. The improved throttle response is great when driving and noticeable when doing sports. It is suitable for 2017 Escape 2.0 Ecoboost. It has not been tested by K and N and they will inform you that it is not scheduled for 2017; No problem installing for 2017. I'm not sure if the hood is meant to seal the top of the CAI and it might be, but I can't confirm. Not sure if the 2017 hood has changed from 2016 or not. You can definitely hear the difference, but for me it wasn't drastic. I'm considering removing the muffler so I can enjoy listening to my cars (obviously not a sports car). It was over 90 degrees out and I still felt like there was more traction. Respected Melody will greatly increase your HP on these machines. Better a Tune than a CAI, but for the price of a K&N CAI it's worth it!
