I recently decided to try vinyl and since I started I have bought several rolls of 3M 1080 Scotchprint from VIVID. So far it's been pretty awesome! I really enjoy working with the material. It took a bit of practice to learn how to heat it to just the right amount once you settled on the wrap's position. It's not very difficult. Definitely can be glued slightly and then lifted and moved around the packaging until it is right. (Just don't let foreign objects stick to the adhesive side or you'll create bubbles you can't squeeze out.) Then, by applying just the right amount of heat, you can manipulate the film around the corners pretty well and stick forever. I recommend using primers (or jars) which can also be found at Revain. They really help smooth out the edges for some projects. I will include some photos of some of my recent projects using carbon fiber sheeting.
