Review on DEWALT D180002 Standard Electricians Bi Metal by Michael Keitt

Nice simple kit with quick release, you have to stop often to remove plaque from your teeth.

I have a nice set of hole saws that I bought a few years ago but I can't remember where I put them at home. So I wasn't looking for an expensive kit as one day I will find my original hole saw kit. Of course, what draws my attention to this set is the brand name "Dewalt" and the price is only $44. The next thing I really wanted was a Quick Release Kit as I hate turning the knob to lock the pins. So far I personally like this kit and don't use it on thick metals. What I noticed is that the teeth on the Dewalt hole saw are flat and not deep enough. This means I've had to stop frequently to clear debris from between my teeth. Once you've cleared the debris, it will continue to cut normally. I also bought a Lowes "Kobalt" brand saw and the teeth on the saw are deeper which means you don't have to stop to clear debris. But the Lowes brand is notable for being unstable and a bit wobbly, as you can see in the video.
