What is wrong with this picture? I needed a 2 inch hole saw so I bought this handy set to have a small range of sizes. However, when open there are TWO sizes of 1-3/4 inches and a ZERO size of 2 inches. The kit was sealed in a box that appeared to be unopened (was sealed with tape). Maybe someone cleverly opened it, resealed it, and returned the correct size after removing it. One of the parts looks a bit used. Please check the quality!
Overall a good hole saw set. Nothing special. definitely not as good as the Lennox kits I usually use. But the main issue and the reason I'm retuning this is the mandrel for the two smallest saws. By the way: The mandrel included in the kit differs from the one shown in the photo. It's been redesigned to be ridiculously big, long, heavy and unwieldy. It is even larger and heavier than the one designed for large hole saws. I am an electrician. Of course, when I design an electrical system it has
I have had this kit for over 2 years now and have used it many times on wood, MDF, drywall and several times on metal both by hand and on a drill press. As usual with this type of simple bimetallic hole. Saws, don't expect miracles - they will cut through almost anything but leave no smooth surface, get very hot and it can be painful to remove the washer from the saw. Hole saws are almost the same and have the same mandrel size so they are interchangeable - you won't notice any difference…
I have a nice set of hole saws that I bought a few years ago but I can't remember where I put them at home. So I wasn't looking for an expensive kit as one day I will find my original hole saw kit. Of course, what draws my attention to this set is the brand name "Dewalt" and the price is only $44. The next thing I really wanted was a Quick Release Kit as I hate turning the knob to lock the pins. So far I personally like this kit and don't use it on thick metals. What I noticed is that the teeth
The product version we received does not include the quick change bar type. - Replace mandrels to improve user productivity." The product photos also show a product with quick change mounts. The mandrels obtained will not remain in the crate when the crate is closed and moved as the crate may not be designed for these mandrels. If Dewalt has decided to change the design a lot of the positive reviews probably don't apply to the version of the product we received The product photos on the Dewalt…

Okay, I know it's been four years since I bought this product. It sat on a shelf in my shop, still wrapped in a box, and had never been opened in all that time. When I bought this set I needed it "immediately", but between ordering and arriving the actual need was resolved in another way. sooo It sat there until yesterday when I decided I needed a new cutter. I opened it up and made the unfortunate discovery that there was no large hole cutter holder. Nothing more. I would think that I used the
