This is a pretty cool device that works similar to a colander. You attach it to the pot and you can pour out the liquid while storing everything you cook. It's perfect for pasta or potatoes and I'm sure if you get creative in the kitchen you can think of other uses. Some concerns I had and discovered after using it for a while: 1. Will it really hold all that hard stuff inside? First yes. Even thin noodles do not run away, but the water goes.2. Is it heat resistant enough to attach to almost any pot I've cooked in? Yes, as long as there is no sign of melting or warping from heat, that's fine.3. Is it easy to attach? Well, something like that. The clamps work pretty well, but you have to get a good grip on them so they can open and attach to the pot. Is it more convenient to use than a regular colander? Yes and no. It's not actually any easier or more convenient to use, but it's not that much more difficult to use either. However, it is easier to clean, which is a big plus. Overall, if you cook and strain a lot of things, it might be worth trying as an alternative to the traditional strainer. At the current price of $6.50, it's not a very risky purchase if you think it might be something you might want to use. *** I write reviews as a hobby because I love trying electronics, clothing, housewares and kitchen appliances. , and more.
