This is NOT a direct replacement for the small fan motors found in Ventline RV roof vents. On the original Ventline motor, the mounting bolt holes are 5/8" apart. These mounting holes are much further apart (1 inch) and the motor form factor is much larger. Also, it has many holes in the motor housing (for airflow/cooling? ) which are a welcome entry point for dirt, dust and water, and the heat shrink tubing at the solder joints was not "sealed" properly.. I would look elsewhere if trying to replace a burned out Ventline RV Roof Vent Motor ( which I seem to have to do every 2 years or so).

Pros
  • Ventline motor. Determine the direction of rotation: The fan motor has reverse polarity, allowing it to rotate in both clockwise and counter-clockwise directions. you can determine the direction yourself, if it turns in the wrong direction, simply swap the cables on the motor.
