Very cool device, also looks great in my kitchen. I used to have a ChefChoice electric knife sharpener that I used, I bought this on the recommendation of friends, it works great and I would highly recommend it. If you want a cheaper block, you can buy a cheaper version for about half the price. I've been told it works just as well, but this one looks very nice and is great for your kitchen. I just do a quick stab before using my knife and it costs like a razor and I can easily slice thin tomato!
