Review on 🛠️ Moog K160015 Spring Seat: Premium Quality Auto Part for Enhanced Suspension Performance by Samuel Bowen

I started with the deadly wobble problem. After replacing the steering rack and all steering rods, nothing has changed. So I decided to replace my cheap spacer alignment kit with a full BDS system. Well, almost done. I didn't think I would have to replace the spacers with these. I was already installing when I realized my mistake. I read the reviews and knew the risk in buying this part, but no one in town had the part I needed and I had to get my truck ready for the Monday commute. Thank you Revain, same day delivery. Parts come here and everything is going great. Then I put a third nut on one of those spring seats. There was little resistance (literally little) and the bolt began to turn in the spring seat. Thank god I have a pretty decent shop in my garage. Attempting to clamp the underside of the bolt with a vise was impossible. If I hadn't learned to weld in high school, I would have screwed up here. Luckily I have a welder and had to weld the base of the stud to the seat. Before you call me a drama queen, think about what your average Joe should be doing right now. If you have a saber saw you can cut off the old seat. But what if, like me, you don't have time to wait for a new one? This seems such an easy fix for Moog. Weld the damn bolts to the seat! Charge me an extra $5 for trouble! With all the complaints I'm seeing here, they should know it's a problem. I've used Moog parts sporadically for years. Sometimes they are decent, sometimes they can be used for a week. Don't take chances with this particular part. Spend a little more money and pay for expedited shipping from another supplier. Now I have to worry about building the rest as cheaply as the bolt-to-seat connection. This thing holds the strut to the frame, with lots of hoses and wires just above it. If/when the seats fail I can only imagine how much it will cost and how long the repair will take.
