I initially had reservations about this purchase and wanted to use the silent board offered by the manufacturer. The main goal was to replace a working board with newer TMC drivers to enable quieter 3D printing. The original motherboard was not available on the manufacturer's website. The only option was to continue with this order despite the negative reviews for this product. The package came in a decent quality box with no external damage. Installation was very easy, with a simple replacement of the wires with the same ones. The hardest part was removing the hot glue that was used at the factory. After a very simple swap, it was very easy to go to the BigTree website to download the latest Marlin firmware. It was easy: copy the files to the included microSD card and fire up the printer. The printer booted for a few seconds while flashing the firmware from the microSD card. There was no additional fiddling with the bootloader or anything like that. The printer successfully completed the first print with exceptional quality and MUCH quieter motors throughout the process. I have no regrets with this purchase and after a few months of use it's holding up great. The only issue I've noticed is that the bed temperature fluctuates more than it did before the motherboard upgrade. This was easily solved by adjusting the PID for the heating element. I would highly recommend this to anyone who needs a new motherboard or prefers their printer to run with more noise reduction.
