We bought this as a wedding present for my grandson and his fiancee as a sweet wedding present. They are world travelers and we are sure they will love it as much as we do. The wedding is only two months later and I'm not sure the box will last long enough. If someone comes, we have to dig them up and show them. The box is starting to look a bit "used" so I think we'll have to buy one ourselves. It rotates slowly and silently, as if by magic. I'm not tech savvy but I'm sure the younger ones will understand. It's absolutely mesmerizing to watch. Another point is the price. While larger globes are a lot more expensive, which is understandable, we think the price is quite reasonable for the size.
