Cheap but great for camera lenses

This lens looks very attractive, especially when paired with a 16-50mm kit lens and a heavily discounted XA-1 body on sale. This kit is so cheap at the current price level that you could pay the same amount for a comparable item. If you read reviews, the X-A1 case is a lot of fun and logically should be the standout item in the kit. After working with the body and lenses for a while, we can conclude that the protagonist of this kit is the 50-230mm lens. at its price. I am continually amazed by the crisp, vibrant images this lens produces in less than ideal conditions. Another reviewer compared it to a comparable Nikon VR zoom that I also own. In this case, OIS performs better than VR. Anyway, I just love the images this lens produces. It's hard to describe, but there's something special about shooting with this lens on a Fuji X-body when the camera is set to some of the useful film simulation modes. It works so well that I now use it on my XE-1 body and no longer look at a comparable XF zoom lens. The XF version might be slightly better (I don't really know how to better define it) but why pay more for less coverage at this level of image production? Some may say they made the metal barrel in Japan, not China. , Fuji could easily charge a lot more for it than the current price. It's probably just because it's so cheap that it doesn't get the attention and recognition of some other Fuji XF lenses. This lens far outweighs its weight in terms of image capture and value presented. As for the maximum aperture of F4.5, there are many excellent F4.0 zoom lenses from all major manufacturers as not everyone can afford them. Release F2.8. Blurring the foreground and background is fairly easy with this lens. The images do not know that they were taken with a "spar" lens.
