Review on Polder 358 Ultra Probe featuring a High-Heat 40-inch Silicone Cord by Sandra Price

Attention refusers: The description says that this probe "Suitable for all Polder oven thermometers" and "Universal design works with all Polder digital inputs - oven thermometers. Polder's own website has almost identical wording on this product. This is also the same sensor that comes with the THM-308-90 thermometer. Here's the catch, according to Polder's technical support, although the THM 308-90 was modeled after the 307, these sensors WILL NOT WORK WITH the 307 thermometer!The 307 does not have a model number printed on it and looks exactly like the 308. I'm not sure how the average consumer would tell the difference, but Polder told me directly that the new sensors *do not* work with the old thermometer In my experience, the thermometer shows, though l Adjust the new sensors and give a reading about 10°F below the actual temperature.
