Review on ๐Ÿšด High-performance RaceFace Chester MTB Pedal for Enhanced Mountain Biking Experience by Robert Toomey

Revainrating 5 out of 5

The ratio of performance and longevity to the price of these apartments is hard to beat.

I've been using them for over a year and they require little to no maintenance just lubrication. They're light and so grippy at 5/10 that repositioning your foot can be a problem if you don't nail it the first time. The nylon body is mostly undamaged, but I broke off a few pins here and there that are regular m3s so they're easy to find and replace. Buyers beware they will bite your shins hard and I have scars to prove it but that is the case with most metal stud flats. Their performance/durability/price ratio is hard to beat. They've outlived a pair out of five dozen, and my second pair since I bought them is already halfway through, although that may be the result of my large feet hanging off the ends. I wear a size 12 Freerider and am considering swapping out the Chester for a wider pedal like the Raceface Atlas, but I probably won't. If you're on the fence, you should just buy this pedal and be done with it. The durability and performance are too high to pass up at such a low price and weight. Also check out all the colors to match your amazing fat bike.
