Not new and does not spin.

The pedals are what I ordered but I expected them to be new. The pedals had dirt and minor scratches. These are mountain bike pedals, so they get pretty muddy, so it's not a big deal. The pedals don't turn freely, the bearings are very tight, I hope they weren't returnable at some point.

Pros
  • A sea of positive emotions
Cons
  • High price

Big bang for your buck

They're perfect bang for the buck. You can spend more for lighter and/or metal pedals, but they do the trick and come in a variety of bright colors at a fraction of the price of other flat pedals. I paid less than $40! Cromag Daggar pedals are around $180. They will keep your feet where they should be. Don't hesitate, get these.

Pros
  • Solid construction
Cons
  • Legacy model

Nice big platform grippy pedal

I ride them with 2fo special shoes that work really well. Lots of support for my big feet. I've used Azonic 420 pedals when I wanted to ride flat, the platform was too small for my foot and they didn't have enough grip. No problem with these pedals! I had a chance to test them on another bike and I really liked them. Good value for money.

  • This is amazing

Lack of traction with stock shoes

My feet bounce a little more on these pedals than on traditional stock pedals. I've always worn normal running shoes, there could be something to that, but I'm rather dissatisfied with the grip on my feet. I feel like I'm constantly trying to grind my legs so they catch and hold. I've also never been a fan of how expensive they are.

Pros
  • An absolute legend
Cons
  • Something different

Replacement at a good price

These pedals were a great upgrade to my stock pedals. Very light, with good grip and at a great price. The colors are kind of an odd variation. The reds look more burgundy while the greens are just right. Light colors are slightly blotchy. You'll have to tidy them up a bit to get them clean, but come on, they're just pedals. Otherwise excellent returns when swapping pedals.

Pros
  • Glad
Cons
  • Exchange available

Pedal fell apart after a few months

Pedals are lightweight and provide excellent traction when used properly. The pedal ripped off the handle after a few months and I was left without a pedal. I think it's important to mention that my bike has been carefully serviced regularly by the local bike shop. My pedals may have been a bad product. Trimming aside, the pedals also creaked after servicing to prevent this.

Pros
  • Satisfied so far
Cons
  • Slightly dented

Light as a pair of xtr plus spikes

Bought these and a pair of 5 10 freeride shoes due to an ankle injury and couldn't take my spds off. They are very light, as light as a pair of xtr plus spikes. After using them all summer I can just leave them on. I bought a pair for every MTB I have. They make riding that little bit more fun as all you can do is hope for your bike and pedal. Many kilometers without problems and maintenance. The screws are sharp and any contact with the skin causes bleeding, sometimes profuse, which can be the

  • Cool product

  • Definitely bad product

These are worth every penny! I wear a Phila with no heels.

They are worth every penny! I'm wearing Fila skate flats and my feet don't move! I also agree with everyone here on how awesome they are. I hit them on some crazy rocks and roots, expecting to look down and see that either part of the pedal was ripped off or at least looked very twisted. No, the pedals still look like new. I don't even understand. In fact, they are so grippy that you need to be sure of your footing before getting into the technical part of the trail because sometimes it's…

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Functionality

I've been using them for over a year and they require little to no maintenance just lubrication. They're light and so grippy at 5/10 that repositioning your foot can be a problem if you don't nail it the first time. The nylon body is mostly undamaged, but I broke off a few pins here and there that are regular m3s so they're easy to find and replace. Buyers beware they will bite your shins hard and I have scars to prove it but that is the case with most metal stud flats. Their…
