The SDD interconnect board is not working properly - do not wait to boot from SSD. There is a solution on the internet BUT this reduces the performance to a level below that of the SD card. I've tried 32-bit and 64-bit Raspbian - both with different problems but same result - the device doesn't work and boot with SSD (in fact, it doesn't even see it on 64-bit Raspbian). (Update) Retroflag replied to my email with a firmware update and/or script. The problem is that in order to force the SSD to boot, it will corrupt USB3 and reduce performance to about SSD level. Also, the front USB3 doesn't boot the SSD for some reason no doubt related to its controller.
