i'm glad i ordered this watercolor canvas for watercolor painting.i am just starting to paint and i never knew that you can buy this prepared 100% cotton paper (Triple Primed Cotton Blank Fabric Pads) like this.This ready-to-paint (they take the work out of it for you) watercolor canvas.i have learned that you need to prime and prepare canvas with watercolor ground but this canvas is ready to use.Specially formulated gesso makes the surface more absorbent.Gesso is an absorbent primer coat substrate for painting."Gesso is a white paint mixture consisting of a binder mixed with chalk, gypsum, pigment, or any combination of these." (Wikipedia)it is said on the product page that 100% cotton with natural woven texture Aureuo art canvas can endure harsher treatment than watercolor paper for easy washes and corrections without damaging the painting surface.This canvas is also acid-free.Watercolor canvas stays wetter longer and it is less likely to buckle or tear like paper.The pages are removable and you got 10 pages per book.i have to say i like this cotton canvas very much and i am happy that i have it.it will be so nice to paint with.i hope you find this review helpful.Sabiene :)
