First, let me address some of the other installation issues that others have experienced. Please check your vehicle code before purchasing. I know for 2008 CTS it only fits vehicles equipped with J55 code not JE5 code. These codes can be found on the spare wheel cover. Simply put, the J55 has 345mm front and 339mm rear rotors. Code JE5 has 315mm at the rear. After confirming code J55 I bought this code almost 45,000 miles ago. The pads are now entering their useful life. I will end up buying another set to replace the previous one as I have been happy with it for the past few years. I will say that I read the instructions and correctly installed the pads and router. Overall, I'd recommend this kit to anyone who wants good stopping power, relatively low brake dust (there are some), and great looks. Update: So, it was 40,000 miles on the second set. The pads themselves still have decent life, but the rotors have started to deform again. I have to say I'm a bit disappointed with the short lifespan of the rotors as I don't ride aggressively.
