Improper installation in braking system

I ordered this kit for my 2010 Cadillac CTS 3.6 (Performance Package). When I received the order, the front brake pads were missing and the packaging was horribly jumbled up. Also, it doesn't fit my car, it looks like it belongs to CTS-V because the rotors were a bit bigger.

proven to be the best among brake kits

These are really good brakes and rotors. BUT. I received a kit that was opened, greasy, packaging was missing, a test kit, whatever. I PAID for a brand new, unused, unopened item. Photo of the first box opened showing that the goods are not in new condition. I will clean everything with brake cleaner before installing and make sure I really have everything. I've used them on 3 cars in the past as they're a solid product but I'm a little disappointed with this set. I'll update the results once…

Great brakes for those checking the right code (J55)

First, let me address some of the other installation issues that others have experienced. Please check your vehicle code before purchasing. I know for 2008 CTS it only fits vehicles equipped with J55 code not JE5 code. These codes can be found on the spare wheel cover. Simply put, the J55 has 345mm front and 339mm rear rotors. Code JE5 has 315mm at the rear. After confirming code J55 I bought this code almost 45,000 miles ago. The pads are now entering their useful life. I will end up buying…
