This amplifier is very easy to install and works very well. My cable company's signal strength has been too weak since last summer, resulting in very common broken pictures, no sound, and "no signal" error messages, especially during prime time. Despite numerous discussions with the cable company and frequent resets of my cable box, there was no improvement. The cable company stubbornly refused to admit the problem was on their side. After installing this amp my reception was perfectly normal and I haven't had any problems since. The only problem I have with this product is connecting to the power adapter. Why does it have to be a user-supplied RG-59/UF connector cable? Instead, it should be the standard power cord and plug that comes with the power adapter, similar to those used in cable boxes and many other electronic devices. Despite that little beef, I highly recommend this product. It works well and makes a big difference!
