So far. - Spare parts

I installed them on my 2005 Nissan Titan. They arrived in a reasonable time with free shipping. I found them cheaper on another site but the shipping cost brought it back to what I paid for them. My heart sank when I saw the words "Made in China" on it. I was impressed with the machining on the rotors. The rear set was easy to install. Be careful when installing the inner pad in the caliper though, it will be tight and one of the spring tabs may break if not installed straight. The front ones were a lot stiffer because Nissan smeared red Loctite onto the bolts that hold the caliper bracket in place. You will need to heat the carving area to soften the Loctite. Keep heat away from wheel speed sensors. The front set didn't have stainless steel clips to hold the ends of the bars, so keep your old ones. The clips came with the rear wheels. You need a quiet stretch of road to perform the correct break-in procedure and prevent the rotors from snapping. This set of brakes and rotors performs much better than the stock set. Nissan replaced the brakes and rotors when I bought the truck because they had a campaign but no recall to do this for customers who complained about soft brakes. They didn't feel as good as these. I towed a trailer (with trailer brakes) and 2 ATVs through the West Virginia mountains to the Hatfield McCoy trails. It wasn't hard to stop. Now I'm curious to see how the galvanizing with the winter salt will hold up on the road. You look good on my truck. I hope they last me a long time.
