It's great! Much better than my old shaker. I wanted a NEW shaker because I was having a party and my old shaker was very difficult to open when cold from drinks. This shaker is easy to remove when the drink is ready and somehow the drinks are colder than the old shaker. I don't have a good scientific background to tell you why that might be. The bar spoon is a nice little thing and has already proven itself. I've never used a jigger, only shot glasses. I don't know what the standard is but I found it odd that the small side was 3/4 oz and not 1/2 oz. All of the little recipes in the book call for 0.5 ounces of the second ingredient. I would deduct a star for that, except I didn't buy the jigger or the drinks brochure. I bought a shaker and received a shaker. BIG SHAKER!
