Bell Motivator Exercise Bike

This product works great but needs some adjustments to work properly. If you are using a bike with "knobby" tires you can wear ear plugs or buy a slick for the rear wheel. I have a mountain bike and just got a "hybrid" tire that works great and keeps the noise down. Some complained that the locknuts (made of plastic) broke when tightened. Solution: Tighten with no tool other than hand and then tighten an additional 1/8 turn. They do not break and lock the retaining screws. To vary the "hardness" of the workout, I put the spinner on the highest gear on the bike. Since I have an 18-speed bike, I can vary my workout just by shifting gears; This way you don't have to constantly change the rotor on the machine, but only once during a workout. Don't expect to have to quickly put the bike on and off because to take the bike off you have to unscrew each side of the trainer to drop the bike; Conversely, screw in both sides to hold the bike. Happy training!
