Like most people in the reviews, the first one I ordered broke. I was trying to expand a 3" pipe to fit another 3" pipe. I shot him with a percussion pistol and he shattered into a thousand pieces. Wasn't happy at all. I've been watching a few videos recently and most people have been using hand tools on some of them. So I thought let's give it a second try. I just arrived today and went outside to work on my Camaro exhaust. Didn't have high hopes but was surprised to see him stretching the pipes. It worked fine with a 1/2 inch ratchet. This tool expanded the pipe to fit the catalytic converter and worked great expanding the second piece of 2.5" pipe to fit the other 2.5" pipe. Lesson learned: don't use a percussion gun, take your time with your hand. tool and it works great.
