I use them as a treat for my sun conure which is very picky. She loves it. They're pretty flexible. They are a single rectangular piece with notches. Something like a Hershey's candy bar. I usually cut along the lines into smaller pieces and then back into even smaller pieces. That way I don't waste time breaking it by hand. Then I put the parts back in the bag and zip it up on the bag. This keeps them moist. If you don't close/seal the bag, the seeds will dry out. Although I don't think it will spoil them, they will just crumble more when the bird eats them. So half of it is either outside the cage or on the inside of the cage floor.
