VERY THIN material and VERY THIN! The helmet comes with the headgear removed and useless instructions so fitting the headgear to the helmet is a real hassle. The "stops" built into the helmet prevent the helmet from being rotated fully up/to the side if necessary. You should take it off to get a clear idea of what you are working on. Even my cheap port freight welding helmet (which I keep in the visitor shop) is light years better than this one! Don't waste your money and time on it!
