Engine block reheated to 70*

Great product. A few weeks ago I installed it on my compact John Deere 750 diesel tractor in anticipation of the approaching cold weather. Neither the prognosis nor this heater disappointed me. Installation was pretty easy. I found a 1" pipe plug on the right side of the motor that was fairly easy to access with a 1/2: square wrench. I checked the distance before going too far as some have complained about the difficulty in unscrewing the connector. . It was easy to move with the 18 inch rod. I then poured a gallon of antifreeze into the milk jug and unscrewed the lid. There must be some blind spots as about a pint of liquid spilled out of the hole when I removed the pipe plug. So remember to have something on hand to absorb that excess. turned the head 1-3/8, poured antifreeze and the engine started. A few minutes later the radiator was closed and the expansion tank was filled. Note. I used the tractor a couple of times to make sure the air was out before turning on the heater. After the 3rd use the overflow stopped taking coolant. Today I use it for the first time. In the barn it was 0* and the tractor had the same temperature. I connected the heater and after 90 minutes the engine block was almost 70*. I turned on the pre-heater for 20 seconds and then started the tractor. He wrapped like summer! None of the long starts and slow revs I've seen at 20*. Good product that did the job for me.
