Small pocket radios (like the CC Pocket Radio, Sony's $12 mass production, etc.) although they have excellent features and purpose and are always worth it , being bought just can't always "clearly" catch up with the stations I want to hear (the internal AM antenna is too small and needs to be boosted with a Terk or something). For example, last night from Lancaster, Pennsylvania, I listened to the MLB World Series at 3:20 p.m. with my pocket CC radio (inside the Terk) and there was almost no fading or fading. That way I could listen to the radio with Turk and not have to change his position, fool around with him, switch to another ESPN channel, miss important broadcasts, etc. I could listen to the whole game without my effort, listen. I simply put the radio in the Turk, tuned the Turk's frequency to my radio, left it about five feet away from me, and didn't touch it again for about five hours. Wow.
