Gauge is too 'thick' to hide in the glove box and the 'on' button sticks out in a place where it pokes through slightly when 'stopped' other things in the glove box can be pressed ""his or access to things. In addition, the instructions state that the battery is not user-replaceable. As there are screws you could probably open as I have other types to find simple button cells but you don't know for sure. But to top it all off, the little green LED that lights up at the top, which was a selling point in the description, stopped working shortly after opening! The gadget still seemed to work fine.
