Fine. I only got it because a new Harley dipstick was too expensive and I was too lazy to buy a new stem o-ring. I can't tell you if Temp is read correctly or not. Honestly, IDK and IDC. it closes my oil tank and does it well

Description says it will fit 2008 FLSTN - WILL NOT FIT. The probe is too long and does not fit. I tried to bend the probe to fit and it broke (the probe is a thin hollow tube) - that was my fault - instead I had to send it back when it didn't fit. Wasted $20 and no oil temp gauge :-( looked fine until it broke - disappointed the description was wrong that it fit my model.

Perfect fit but the actual part that is in the oil is stiff and doesn't hang around like a regular dipstick. However, I hope that the measurement is not a problem because the markings do not match, they are wider than the standard. Now I checked my oil with the standard dipstick and then this one and it was at the same spot (ie 3/4 between the two marks). I bought two of these. It goes well with my 2003 Heritage Softail with Mustang seat. But it doesn't seem to fit my wife's factory-seat 2005 Heritage Softail. I'm also a bit disappointed with the length (too long) compared to the factory dipsticks and the markings on the dipstick showing the oil level.
