I'm sure it will be great if it runs and runs but as soon as I connected the oxygen tank to the regulator and opened the valve the regulator hissed . bad. I called Victor and apparently the controls come with a 5 year warranty, which is great, but I'd rather this thing just worked. I'll see how well the warranty department works with Amazon.

High quality set. My old hoses leaked a lot (even with tape) and the gauges were long gone. It's time for a new set! These sensors are very well protected. Tough plastic protection around gauges with large, durable grips. Contains a useful accessory set and a cutting head. Victor is still doing good things.

Bought to replace my 35 year old Victor set which was having some age issues. Good flashlights but I don't really like the new gauges. Most torch jobs require 3-5 pounds of oxygen pressure, and you can't accurately pinpoint that low pressure. They are suitable for cutting oxygen weighing 25 pounds and up. I ended up buying another oxygen sensor that could be read at that pressure for another $100 or so.

This is a good torch set and everything works great. The only thing to note is the short length of the hoses supplied. You'll just have to replace them at some point or tie them to a different length because being tethered so close to your tanks that you don't have freedom of movement when you need it sucks. I didn't realize this until I first set up the partial heater on my backhoe and had to watch how I move so as not to turn my tanks over. I think it's a great kit if you fit one of those…

I was able to quickly set up and start cutting. Definitely worth the money. You must use at least 60 psi oxygen and 5 psi acetylene to get good results. Rosebud works great too. However, regulators are poorly designed, making their placement in the field of view a problem. Old school regulators have a flow knob on the face of much larger gauges.
