Fits fine but some like it and some don't but I had a 70 year old man who told me he noticed a change to the car after I installed it so that says more than I can, so if they notice a difference i will say it works but the main purpose is that we live in the desert and it captures dust and dirt better than a factory filter but time will tell.

The average person won't notice an increase in performance or gas mileage if I'm average. To prove that, we need controlled tests with my car. My average, conservative use of my car didn't bring me any improvement. Hopefully I'll save money in the long run by being able to clean it and it doesn't contaminate the oxygen sensor which needs cleaning as my dealer warned me when it happened to me on a similar car in the past.

I use K&N in every engine I own from the ATV to my everyday car. It's more expensive than a typical cardboard or foam filter, but when you sacrifice the ability to clean and reuse that filter throughout the life of the engine, it more than makes up for the cost. Cleaning is easy and can be done at every other oil change and takes a few minutes. I would recommend them to anyone and everyone. You'll also get a sticker that shows you're in a cool kids' club.

Fits perfectly on my 2014 E-450 v10. The application is only a cold air intake. I've been using K&N for 30 years, it's hard to spend that much, but this is the last you'll ever buy, so now you can bite the bullet. Previously, after a full adjustment and all fluid changes, about 90% of highway driving, my 1998 Ford Expedition Eddie Bauer (5.4L, 4WD) achieved 15.3mpg. K&N make quality products. An aftermarket fitment may work well for some brands, but with this K&N filter it fits BETTER than the OEM. I bought this for my HVAC van. This is a 2007 Ford E150 with a 4.6 liter engine. There was definitely a desire for a little more power as I've gotten used to Chevy 6.0L's in our other vans. I installed this and noticed a small pickup idle and better traction on the freeway and in the mountains. It's too early to tell a difference in MPG, but I've always had at least a small improvement over all my other cars.
