I have roller shutters installed on my glass doors and I like to raise and lower them but the floor needs to be hooked when they are lowered or pivoted. The plastic dowels that came with it broke the second time I used it. Metal ones are perfect! I read that another reviewer said they were thin metal and flimsy, but I didn't think that was the case. They are strong, not easy to bend, and fit snugly into the original anchor holes. You are perfect!

This is a much thinner metal that flexes rather than springs. They work, but not as well as the original plastic bottles, which broke after 14 years of UV exposure. To update. After speaking to them on a couple of trips I lowered the rating. Besides useless, they are so thin. I found cheaper and more durable plastic bottles at my local bulk box store. They are so weak that the weight of the blind bends them while driving.

The plastic brackets for my mini blinds in our RV recently broke. I ordered them from Amazon to replace the broken plastic bottles. The metal on them is very thin, weak, and bends easily. I would expect them to give a bit to allow you to slide the blinds in and out, but they only flex when pressure is applied.
