This garbage is complete garbage. Terrible smell. But the worst thing is that it's JUTE, not hemp. False advertising. This seller should be banned from Revain.

I use this rope for crafting with hot glue and it works well. I was a little worried it would smell bad based on other reviews but I couldn't detect any odor. I will update the photo when my project is complete!

This is not hemp. This is jute. See attached photo. Jute is not hemp and hemp is not jute. The inclusion of both words is false advertising, obviously made because hemp costs much more than jute. 100% hemp above, this product (0% hemp) below.

I placed an order and ended up ordering a second one because I needed more. Both were great. I haven't noticed any odd smell in any order. I used a DIY rope from Dollar Street that I saw on YouTube. I couldn't find Dollar Tree's marine rope so I bought this rope.

Size 20m is perfect for repairing a 3 x 18 inch scratching post. When I first opened the package there was a slight odor, however this began to dissipate within the 20 minutes it took to repackage the scratching post. Seems to be of decent quality. hope it lasts

This is jute, corresponds to the description, but out of the box it is not for "leisure use" " suitable. It smells strongly of kerosene, tough, it has a lot of loose fibers. Yes, the price was good, and now I understand why "treated" rope is so expensive - there's a lot of prep work involved.

This jute twine was thinner than I expected but perfect for the craft I needed it for. It had no order as stated in other reviews. Like all burlap, it pills a little, but not much. It was easy to work with him. Looks very high quality and lasts a long time. Happy with my purchase!

I started a DIY project but I felt like it needed something more. I found this rope and knew it would add the perfect finishing touch to my project. This jute rope is exactly the thickness and weight I expected. I'm in the process of assembling all the pieces for the project, once I'm done I'll add photos. This rope works great for what I ordered it for.

Not the best and I'm guessing it's an 8mm rope and not a 6mm rope. The color is darker than in the picture. There are many inconsistencies in thickness and density, with some areas clearly representing splices and many short, thick, coarse and other inhomogeneous fibers. When used for Kinbaku/Shibari, this rope must be carefully pre-treated to make it softer. this and remove the chemical smell.
