Description of πŸ”§ Tech 12-Inch Oil Filter Pliers: Automotive Hand Tool with Slip Joint, Adjustable Design, and 5 ½” Maximum Opening

Jaws have a 20 degree offset and can open to fit filters from 2 inches (50.8 mm) 5 1⁄2 inches (139.7 mm) in diameter, allowing them to fit most oil filters. 12 inch long handles give the leverage needed to remove stubborn or stuck filters. Right angle teeth provide a no slip grip on the filter. Vinyl grips are secure and comfortable. Easier reach into the tight spaces of a car or vehicle engine than a strap wrench. More cost-effective than buying separate sockets for every different filter.

Worked for my large lock nut on my toilet tank

I couldn't find a lock nut wrench that would fit my toilet tank without spending over $70 so I went ahead and bought one to see if it worked . It worked like magic and now I can use it for changing the oil too.

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • Ugly packaging

Have these for RV

Motorhome owners know how difficult it is to attach/detach the flexible drain hose to the fitting. They are impractical and often (like mine) are in a hard-to-reach place. This was recommended for grabbing and screwing in the 3" connector. This is the largest size available. Everything to get the dirty work done faster.

Pros
  • practical thing
Cons
  • the list will be long.

A must have for every tool box

Much better than a pair of plastic keys. It costs a little more, but if you have a cold snap, a stuck fitting, or a DIY connector without the usual grip points, this is the only way out. I bought the plastic keys and then spent double the money to get this key because the plastic keys just don't always cut it. Like I said, this is a must have for any tool kit. There will come a time when you will be very lucky that you have a pair of these.
